Microsoft announced a new type of XBOX 360 today at E3 2010 during their Media Briefing named; XBOX 360 Slim. The following stats are for the XBOX 360 Slim:

* 250GB hard drive
* Built-In wifi
* Sleek and slimmer design
* Redesigned hardware that is supposedly "whisper quiet"
* Costs the same as the standard XBOX 360 - $299

Those who attended the Microsoft XBOX Media Briefing received a FREE console shipping to their house today, Microsoft also announced that they are also shipping out new consoles to retailers today and should be available by the weekend.

Dead to Rights: Retribution Preveiw

The theme of the new thrilling game, Dead to Rights: Retribution, is to follow vice cop, Jack Slate, as he fights shadowy figures.
The indistinct creatures are hard to stop, with their deadly influence on the deteriorating metropolis, which has gone bust and is falling into massive trouble and corruption.
Jack's character is shaped by the key events, like how he and his partner, Shadow, come together against those who bring harm to the once great city.

Dead to Rights puts the full combat potential of a highly trained law enforcement officer into your hands with a new, innovative combat system.

Using your sidearm to pick off enemies, from a distance, taking cover with human shields and using the games new range combat mechanics is a great way to proceed in the game.
You can also steal weapons with moves that disarm enemies or by using deadly take down moves.
As the fight grows closer to the criminal part of Grant City, Jack is equally lethal in close-quarters combat, counterattacks and disarming moves.

While in the 50 allies and slumps of Grant City, Jack encounters a variety of ruthless gangs, each with their own abilities and fighting styles.

This game has an exciting storyline, so players experience adventurous game play. Dead to Rights: Retribution will be released on April 27h, 2010, for $59.99.

Fans of the long-running Madden games are breaking from their huddles and moving up to the line.

It is August after all, and that means that NFL training camps are winding down, exhibition games have been scheduled, the first game after Labor Day isn’t far away, and of course it’s time for the newest Madden game to hit the shelves. Eager fans of the franchise are grinning in anticipation.

Xbox 360 Pro To Be Phased Out, Brings On Elite Price Cut?

During this past Summer season, many rumors had surfaced about price cuts for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. With screen shots and video of the supposedly soon to come PS3 slim, most think Sony will be dropping prices, but Sony has yet to comment. And with the reliable mole hinting at price cuts for both systems to come this upcoming Fall, everyone is getting excited for price cuts all 'round. But with just recently surfaced images coming from retail stores of a new packaging of the Xbox 360 Arcade, we now have something to go off of.

This new Xbox Arcade packaging (right), shows only two consoles in the comparison, Arcade and Elite models. One can assume with the updated packaging that the Xbox Pro model is soon to be phased out. With such a large gap left over with the Pro model leaving the shelves, one can only hope the Elite will take over the 299.99 USD price.
